Horses, goats, and a young boy

Live stock was was a vital part of mountain life. Often free ranging provided forage for them animals. Goats were often seen as a problem by some, because of their ability to clear an area of low growing foliage.

The boy is unknown to me. Identity by viewers is always appreciated.
